Application Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to support the planning, execution, and completion of IT-related projects. The Application Developer will work in an Agile environment to develop, enhance, integrate, and maintain secure and reliable cloud-based applications while collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.

The ideal candidate will have strong software development experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with modern web, API, database, DevOps, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain high-quality, reusable, scalable, and secure application code.
• Support the planning, execution, and successful completion of IT projects within established timelines and requirements.
• Analyze complex system integration challenges and collaborate with internal and external technical teams to develop effective solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points, and functional requirements.
• Review and contribute to technical designs and architectural decisions.
• Develop and implement new application features and enhancements.
• Build, enhance, and maintain cloud-based applications.
• Demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders and project teams.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Manage application parameters and configurations to support efficient front-end performance.
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and operational workflows.
• Evaluate the feasibility of proposed software applications and system modifications.
• Identify potential technical requirements, limitations, dependencies, and system restrictions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
• Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in relevant ceremonies and team activities.
• Utilize source control and established software development practices to maintain code quality and version integrity.
• Research and learn new programming languages, technologies, frameworks, and development practices as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing maintainable, reusable, and secure code.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt new programming languages, technologies, and development tools.
