Job Description

Summary We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery across major civil engineering works in Newcastle. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure or heavy civils projects, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

Client Overview Our client is a well-established construction organisation with extensive experience delivering challenging and large-scale engineering projects safely and successfully.

Responsibilities<br />Lead and manage all phases of civil engineering project delivery, from planning through to completion<br />Oversee programme performance to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery<br />Develop and implement project strategies to mitigate risks and optimise outcomes<br />Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation on-site<br />Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to secure best results<br />Manage budgets, costs, and resources effectively across the project lifecycle<br />Provide clear leadership to multi-disciplinary teams in a demanding environmentMust-have Requirements<br />Extensive experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within civil engineering (infrastructure, highways, drainage, groundworks)<br />Proven success delivering complex high-value projects on time and within budget<br />Strong leadership and commercial awareness skills<br />Comprehensive knowledge of compliance standards and major civils methodologies<br />Proficiency in tools and software for project and cost managementApply Now If you are ready to lead significant civil engineering projects and deliver to the highest standards of quality and safety, apply today and take the next step in your career.
