Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join a small but versatile Technology team in a highly collaborative environment. The role offers exposure to quantitative research, trading systems, and risk reporting, with opportunities to work on cutting‑edge frameworks and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to enhance all aspects of the trading system, including:
  • Data acquisition & validation
  • Integration of quantitative models into trading infrastructure
  • Post‑trade workflows and risk reporting
• Work closely with senior team members who will provide mentorship and training.
• Partner with other teams to support business objectives.
• Contribute to evolving the technology stack by exploring new frameworks and architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related mathematical field.
• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with Typescript/Angular.
• Experience with messaging protocols (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Web Sockets).
• Strong foundation in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Exposure to financial data APIs and databases (Onetick/Kdb).
• Experience working in a Unix environment.
• Knowledge of industry‑standard tools and best practices for design, development, configuration management, and implementation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
