We are seeking an experienced Integration API Developer to join our Data Analytics team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions that connect a wide range of clinical, operational, and corporate systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, build scalable integration solutions, and ensure reliable data exchange across cloud and on-premises environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and supporting APIs and integration services across multiple platforms
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Building and optimising data pipelines and integration workflows
- Managing testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing support activities
- Supporting data quality, security, and governance requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and technology innovation
- Working closely with team members to deliver reliable, business-critical solutions
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering API and system integration solutions in complex environments
- Strong programming and database skills, including experience with Java, SQL, .NET, PL/SQL, or similar technologies
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, FHIR, and event-driven integration patterns
- Knowledge of modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with source control, testing, deployment, containerisation, and CI/CD processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms (desirable)
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR (desirable)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (desirable)
