Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer to join a well established family run FMCG business in County Durham. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. This role is well suited for a proactive, outgoing engineer who is ready to join a busy maintenance team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the existing plant to support production and working closely with the maintenance manager. The role

• Maintenance and improvement of existing plant equipment
• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance and feeding back to the maintenance manager
• Production support to ensure efficient line operation
• Working closely with the maintenance manager
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Working effectively with other maintenance engineers Skills
• Proven experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Electrical fault finding on relay logic and industrial control circuits
• Heater PID controller changers and installation
• Inverter drive installation and setup
• Testing and installing 3 phase induction motors
• Medium to strong mechanical knowledge
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of safe working practices
• Ability to work on your own initiative when required Benefits
