The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring efficient operations.
• Strategically position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard using hostler vehicles.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to guarantee safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics and tasks.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to established safety protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
