Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Vice President of Logistics to join our team. The Vice President of Logistics will lead global end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution, ensuring scalable, efficient, and high-quality operations across procurement, warehousing, distribution, and international logistics. Responsibilities:
Strategy & roadmap
- Build the 2 to 3 year logistics strategy roadmap to support international growth, including automation, systems, and organizational design.
- Continue to develop a global scalability plan to support e-commerce growth and international expansion.
- Lead strategic operational decision-making across supply chain, logistics, and e-commerce enablement.
- Own the link between logistics performance and the broader business outcome ,on-time, intact delivery is the corporate partner and beneficiary experience for a meaningful share of the business, not just a systems problem to solve.
Global distribution & trade
- Own global end-to-end logistics planning, including international distribution.
- Own customs, duties, and trade compliance strategy ,HS code classification, tariff optimization, and sanctions/denied-party screening across all markets served.
- Manage inventory planning, replenishment, and global supply management.
- Build network-wide capacity plans ,labor, 3PL capacity, inventory buffers ,ahead of seasonal and event-driven volume spikes.
Warehouse & fulfillment
- Lead warehouse setup, warehouse management processes, and ongoing improvement.
- Enable omnichannel fulfillment strategies in partnership.
3PL, vendor & network management
- Oversee global 3PL setup, performance management, and continuous optimization.
- Manage relationships and performance of global wholesalers, vendors, delivery partners, and logistics networks.
- Oversee vendor negotiations and contracting to drive cost efficiency and operational resilience.
- Own risk and continuity planning ,single-provider dependency risk, disaster recovery, and alternate carrier/route fallback plans across the global network.
Cost & financial ownership
- Drive cost-to-serve modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Own the logistics budget and cost center, including capital planning for automation and warehouse buildout, and represent performance against plan to finance leadership.
Technology & systems
- Lead technology enablement initiatives, including Order Management System (OMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) integration, and last-mile optimization tools.
- Partner with Product and Development on systems supporting order orchestration.
- Oversee data collection processes and partner on building dashboards for network-wide operational insight and KPI visibility.
Process & governance
- Lead major cross-functional programs that enable order fulfillment across Visit’s multiple product channels..
- Redesign and optimize business processes across order-to-delivery workflows.
- Build and standardize operational processes, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
- Maintain operational quality, compliance, and enterprise risk oversight within the supply chain.
Sustainability
- Partner on packaging sustainability and carbon-footprint reduction across the logistics network, in line with company ESG commitments.
Team & organization
- Lead a team of regional managers, logistics associates, and supporting staff.
- Build organizational design and hiring plans for logistics as international markets and warehouse footprint expand.
- Collaborate with events & booking, product, non-profit partnerships, and finance teams on interconnected operational initiatives.
Performance ownership
- Own functional performance targets across the full network (in-house operations and 3PL), on-time delivery rate, cost per order/shipment, fill rate, damage/defect rate, and order-to-delivery cycle time.
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in global operations, supply chain, or logistics leadership, with demonstrated success managing and scaling global teams.
- Proven experience building and scaling e-commerce operations, including fulfillment, systems, and international distribution
- Strong expertise in global E2E logistics planning, inventory management, and cross-border shipping
- Demonstrated experience managing global 3PLs, warehouse operations, and vendor or wholesaler networks
- History of owning operational process design, SOP development, and operational governance
- Ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs
- Strong analytical foundations with experience in forecasting, cost modeling, KPI development, and dashboard tools
- Experience driving international expansion, including market entry assessments, customs requirements, and regulatory considerations
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing global teams
- Proven capability in both long-term strategic planning and hands-on execution across supply chain and e-commerce operations
- Must be available to travel as needed to support business objectives. Expected travel may be up to 25% of the time, depending on the role and operational needs.

Salary range $170,000 to $200,000 DOE; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A range of benefits may include equity, healthcare benefits, paid time off may be provided as part of the compensation package.
