Job Description

Hire Resolve is working with established and growing engineering organisations across the UK to recruit experienced mid-senior to senior-level engineering professionals. These roles suit engineers with strong technical depth, project ownership experience, and the ability to operate within regulated, high-performance environments.

Opportunities span multiple engineering disciplines and industries, including manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, construction, utilities, and advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver engineering projects from concept through design, execution, and handover
  • Apply sound engineering judgement to complex technical, operational, and commercial challenges
  • Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, contractors, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with UK regulations, British Standards, and health & safety requirements
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes, and performance
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and technicians
  • Contribute to project planning, cost control, scheduling, and risk management
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies as required
  • Bachelor’s degree (BEng or MEng) in Engineering or a related discipline
  • 7–15+ years’ experience in an engineering role within industrial, manufacturing, construction, energy, infrastructure, or technology environments
  • Strong technical expertise within your engineering discipline
  • Experience working to UK legislation, British Standards, and industry codes of practice
  • Proven ability to manage or significantly contribute to complex engineering projects
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working toward chartership preferred
  • Proficiency with relevant engineering software, tools, and systems
