Job Description

Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands including Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. Since launching over two decades ago, we've built multiple sales channels across DTC websites and third-party marketplaces. We're passionate about designing inspiring, on-trend furniture that brings customers' home décor dreams to life.

We are seeking a new member to join our Tech Team. Are you ready to be part of something amazing?

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented EDI & Order Management Support Specialist to handle recurring transactional and data-maintenance work across our order management, inventory, and product data systems. This role supports our Systems Administrator by owning day-to-day order corrections, EDI monitoring, and inventory/product data upkeep, freeing up senior staff for higher-level projects.

No specific tool experience is required — we're looking for someone with a background in ERP, order management, or EDI environments who can learn our systems quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Process and troubleshoot customer orders, correcting errors as they arise
  • Maintain accurate customer, inventory, and product data across business systems
  • Monitor system and data feeds, identifying and resolving processing errors
  • Support day-to-day inventory management, including stock levels and warehouse data
  • Diagnose recurring issues and work with internal teams to resolve them
  • Perform routine data uploads and reporting tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience with or understanding of order management, inventory management, and basic ERP concepts
  • Familiarity with EDI or system-to-system data processing is a plus, but not required
  • Comfortable working across multiple business systems and switching between tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and solid data-entry accuracy
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve routine data or process errors independently
  • Clear communicator, able to flag and escalate issues when needed
  • Comfortable with repetitive, detail-heavy work in a fast-paced environment
  • May require irregular office hours during major holidays, including nights and weekends

Benefits

  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Life Insurance
  • Employee Discount
  • Flexible Schedule
  • Paid Time Off

Work Location

  • Daniel Island, South Carolina (Charleston)
