Job Description

Title: Financial Intelligence Analyst II – Alert Triage Analyst
Location: Vienna, VA (REMOTE)
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with possible extensions
Compensation: $40/hour - $48/hour
Work Requirements: , Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Financial Intelligence Analyst II – Alert Triage Analyst

BSA/AML experience at least 2 years or more
Verafin experience preferred
CAMS experience a plus or preferred
Financial institution experienced preferred
A Financial Intelligence Analyst analyzes financial activity, transactional data, and other relevant information to identify potential suspicious activity, financial crime risks, and emerging trends while supporting regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation.
Expertise in financial crime analysis and investigative techniques, including identifying unusual or potentially suspicious activity.
Proficiency in data analysis and research tools, including Excel and other systems used to analyze transactional activity and identify patterns or trends.
Strong understanding of BSA/AML regulatory requirements, financial crime risks, and applicable compliance standards.
Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to assess complex information and make well-supported risk-based decisions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document investigative findings, articulate risk, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
