Job Description

Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. PSI is currently seeking an Airborne Mission Network FSR to support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) under the AFSOC Enhanced Mission Integration (AEMI) program at Cannon AFB in Clovis, New Mexico.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications.
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage and network connectivity.
  • Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users.
  • Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
  • Supports new infrastructure projects.
  • Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years experience in hands-on network / system administration.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification.
  • Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
  • Knowledge of Special Operations, SOCOM, and C4ISR systems and networks.
  • Knowledge of DoD information assurance, policy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment.

Additional Information

  • Ability to travel on short notice, including OCONUS locations.
  • Ability to work in operational environments with limited infrastructure.
  • Eligible for NATO access (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Must meet all applicable security requirements (clearance level to be specified).
