SEND Teacher | Newbury, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking dedicated SEND Teachers to join an impactful organization committed to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant difference within your community by providing tailored support to vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science.
• Support pupils with a range of SEND and SEMH needs, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for KS1-KS5 students.
• Work with local authorities and schools to meet educational goals.
• Report on pupil progress and provide regular feedback.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with diverse needs.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Right to work in the UK.
