Electrical Engineer | Bremen, Germany | On-site

The Role
- Analyze product and component requirements to derive specific automation technology specifications, including control system setup, communication interfaces, safety, and user functions.
- Develop, advance, and select electronic components such as PLC controllers, remote I/O, drive and control technology, sensors, and industrial bus systems.
- Conduct design analyses for products and components with a focus on PLC technology and associated software.
- Coordinate the development of individual components, including alignment with mechanical, software, systems engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing departments.
- Perform component integration, including wiring, commissioning, and verification of functions within the overall system.
- Independently document and analyze work results.
What You'll Need
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Information Technology with initial professional experience.
- Alternatively, a completed vocational training in electrical engineering (e.g., Electronics Technician for Automation Technology) with further training as a technician and several years of professional experience.
- Experience in programming, diagnosing, and optimizing PLC systems (Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Beckhoff, etc.).
- Knowledge in the planning and development of automation systems, as well as in creating circuit diagrams and hardware specifications.
- Experience in the setup and commissioning of automation systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
