Senior Systems Engineer (DoD Cleared Integration & Technical Lea with Security Clearance

We are supporting a DoD program seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead and support the design, integration, and implementation of complex IT solutions across a multi-technology environment. This role will help drive technical direction, support system improvements, and ensure alignment with mission and operational requirements. This is a strong fit for someone with a deep engineering background who has taken on technical leadership responsibilities and contributed to system design efforts, while remaining hands-on. Responsibilities * Lead and support the design, integration, and implementation of IT systems across multiple platforms and technologies * Coordinate technical efforts across teams to ensure alignment with system requirements and project goals * Contribute to system design discussions and long-term technical planning * Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and solutions to improve system performance and scalability * Develop and maintain system documentation, technical plans, and design artifacts * Support project planning efforts including scope, timelines, and implementation approaches * Review system designs to ensure efficiency, scalability, and proper integration * Troubleshoot and help resolve complex system and performance issues * Interface with cross-functional teams to address production and technical challenges * Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on engineering best practices Required Qualifications * Active Secret clearance * IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent) * 5-8+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related field * Experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments * Strong experience with system integration and enterprise environments * Experience contributing to system design or technical direction Preferred Qualifications * Experience leading technical teams or serving as a senior/lead engineer * Familiarity with system architecture concepts and enterprise design principles * Exposure to security, information assurance, or compliance frameworks * Experience supporting complex or mission-critical environments Kaztronix is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, disability, veteran status or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local laws.
