Role: Test Engineer
Location: Oxnard, CA / Goleta, CA
Travel Required: Up to 10% travel between Oxnard and Goleta sites and to customer locations as needed.

As a Test Engineer 2, you will design, develop, and implement testing methods, processes, and equipment to support product validation and qualification activities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, execute, and analyze testing activities for both standard and specialized products. You will also be responsible for supporting test automation initiatives, improving test efficiency, and ensuring compliance with quality and customer requirements.

Role: Test Engineer
Location: Oxnard, CA / Goleta, CA
Travel Required: Up to 10% travel between Oxnard and Goleta sites and to customer locations as needed.
Shift Requirements: Must be able to support multiple shifts, including:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:45 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 12:00 AM
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2 years of test engineering or related experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM field.
- Experience troubleshooting test equipment, test tooling, and test harnesses.
- Experience with test automation and/or lean manufacturing and testing methodologies.
- Experience with technical writing and procedure development.
- 3+ years of test engineering experience.
- Experience with test automation software such as LabVIEW or similar platforms.
- Experience measuring and controlling electronic components, including motors, actuators, positional sensing devices, and load transducers.
- Experience in the aerospace or aeronautical industry.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- Experience using project and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

You will also be responsible for supporting test automation initiatives, improving test efficiency, and ensuring compliance with quality and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement testing methods, procedures, and equipment.
- Plan and coordinate labor, schedules, equipment, and resources required for product testing and evaluation.
- Execute product testing activities, including test planning, setup, execution, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Integrate products with testing tools, software, equipment, and instrumentation.
- Collect, review, and analyze test data and support verification of test requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical test documentation, procedures, and reports.
- Identify and recommend improvements to testing equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, and test requirements.
- Perform testing of customer samples and specialized tests not conducted within standard test environments.
- Participate in and present findings during internal reviews and customer-facing meetings.
- Leverage modern testing tools, automation technologies, and best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and shorten schedules.
- Support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives across product value streams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product validation and operational excellence.
