Investment Team Analyst

The Investment Analyst will have the opportunity to work directly with senior members of the team on all aspects of the investment process - from idea origination and research through due diligence, financial modeling, deal execution, and portfolio company monitoring and consulting.  This is a unique opportunity to help evaluate investments in some of the most exciting technology companies in the world.  Successful candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit, strong attention to detail, and enthusiasm for technology and investing. 

The role can be based in Glade Brook’s Greenwich, CT or Miami, FL offices. 

Select Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and diligence on potential investments; including fundamental financial modeling, valuation analyses, market sizing, and competitive benchmarking.
• Evaluate emerging trends and conduct thematic research.
• Use data and market signals to identify and surface breakout companies.
• Support portfolio value-add projects such as preparing presentations for management on topics including competition, IPO preparation, or margin expansion.
• Monitor portfolio company financial, operating, and competitive performance.
• Aid quarterly fair value process to assist Glade Brook investor reporting.
• Help manage investment team CRM and pipeline reporting.

• 0–2 years of relevant finance or technical experience (investment banking, private equity/venture capital, management consulting, or a related field); this is designed for pre-MBA candidates
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, economics, or another technical or quantitative field.
• Working knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, and core accounting concepts.
• Strong interest in technology and venture/growth-stage investing.
• Genuine intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A desire to work and win as a team.
