Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential mortgage broker clients across Canada through outbound prospecting, cold calling. Your primary objective will be to generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for our sales team while contributing to the company's business growth.


Key Responsibilities

1) Research and identify potential mortgage broker clients across Canada.

2) Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, follow-ups and LinkedIn.

3) Make 200+ outbound calls daily while maintaining professional communication.

4) Qualify leads by understanding client needs and identifying potential opportunities.

5) Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for the sales team.

6) Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent follow-ups.

7) Update and maintain accurate records in the tracking system.

8) Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve lead generation strategies.

9) Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.


Performance Expectations

1) Schedule a minimum of 30 qualified meetings/demos per month.

2) Maintain accurate CRM updates and follow-up records.

3) Consistently achieve lead generation and appointment-setting KPIs.


Qualifications

1) 6 months to 2 years of experience in Business Development, Lead Generation, Sales, or Cold Calling is preferred.

2) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

3) Experience working with US and/or Canadian clients is strongly preferred.

4) Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

5) Comfortable speaking with international clients over phone, email, and LinkedIn.

6) Familiarity with CRM software, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.

7) Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

8) Experience in digital marketing, SaaS, or the mortgage industry is an added advantage but not mandatory.
