Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Angular Front-End Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with CGI Federal. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Angular and modern front-end technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience developing reusable Angular components, services, and modules.
• Strong understanding of Angular routing, forms, dependency injection, and component lifecycle.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with RxJS, Observables, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Git and front-end debugging tools.
• Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Angular Material, Bootstrap, or similar UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with unit testing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes.
• Previous experience supporting federal government projects is a plus.
