Job Title: Material Handler

Job Location: Temecula, CA

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $18.72hr - $23.72hr

Job Overview:

The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring all inventory is maintained accurately and provided to required areas in a timely manner.

Job Duties:

• Putting materials away in warehouse stock using specific part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and locations for all material.
• Transporting materials (e.g., production and non-production materials) using carts, forklifts, pallet jacks, or trucks to designated locations.
• Participating in and completing cycle count activities weekly.
• Performing system transactions to clearly identify material status.
• Visually examining all packages at the time of delivery for any damage, and comparing the identity and quantities listed on packing slips, invoices, and freight bills to the packages to ensure accuracy.
• Handling assignments that require judgment, initiative, and creativity in troubleshooting.
• Supporting all company initiatives identified by management in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
• Complying with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
• Maintaining positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Performing other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Minimum Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 3-5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination.

Minimum Experience / Training Required:

• Some experience with the SAP inventory system is preferred but not required.
• Performing tasks in a quality system environment where accuracy prevents noncompliance with governmental regulations.
• A forklift license may be required to perform warehouse duties when needed.
• Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
