Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with strong SAP Finance domain expertise to design, develop, and support custom solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ABAP, ABAP Objects, S/4HANA-native development, CDS Views, OData, RAP, Fiori/UI5, APIs, and SAP integration technologies, along with a solid understanding of SAP FI processes including GL, AP, AR, and FSCM.

The candidate will work closely with SAP functional consultants, solution architects, business stakeholders, and project teams to translate Finance requirements into scalable, high-performing technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support custom SAP Finance solutions across ECC and S/4HANA.
• Develop custom ABAP objects supporting GL, AP, AR, and Finance processes.
• Build and enhance SAP standard programs using BAdIs, user exits, enhancements, validations, substitutions, and other extensibility frameworks.
• Develop CDS Views, OData services, RAP applications, and Fiori/Fiori Elements solutions for S/4HANA.
• Develop and maintain integrations using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, REST/SOAP APIs, and SAP middleware.
• Support interfaces between SAP Finance and third-party banking, payment, and Finance automation platforms.
• Work with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs, specifications, development estimates, and implementation solutions.
• Develop and support Fiori/UI5 applications and workflow-based Finance solutions.
• Support SAP BTP-based extensions, automation, and modern SAP extensibility approaches.
• Apply clean core and extensibility principles to S/4HANA development.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, UAT, migration, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for custom developments and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of SAP Finance transformation initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on SAP ABAP / ABAP Objects development experience.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA development.
• Hands-on experience with CDS Views, OData, and RAP.
• Experience developing SAP Fiori / Fiori Elements / SAPUI5 applications.
• Strong knowledge of BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs, and custom ABAP development.
• Strong understanding of SAP Finance processes including GL, AP, AR, and related Finance objects.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies including REST/SOAP APIs, PI/PO, CPI, or SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience integrating SAP Finance with third-party applications, banking systems, payment platforms, or Finance automation solutions.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, extensibility, and clean core principles.
• Experience with debugging, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
