The Role

• Prepare lighting design calculations and technical drawings using specialist software (AutoCAD, Lighting Reality, Dialux).
• Support feasibility studies and develop budgetary costings for projects.
• Ensure designs meet technical standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with senior team members to discuss implications of solutions and raise concerns.
• Contribute to the development of new design standards and guidance.

What You'll Need

• HNC/HND or degree in an appropriate discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• Working towards or have achieved IEng status through a relevant institution (IET or ILP).
• Specialist knowledge of road lighting design and electrical design disciplines.
• Proficiency in preparing design calculations and technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Lighting Reality, Dialux, CableCalc and/or Amtech.
