We're looking for a Regional Support & Delivery Engineer to provide application support, technical delivery and implementation engineering across a range of systems and projects. This role combines hands-on IT support with real delivery responsibility - you'll be running work packages, not just tickets.

  • Providing technical support across the systems development life cycle, from solution design through to implementation
  • Delivering quality products on time and within budget, aligned to the roadmap and team capacity
  • Owning continuous delivery across multiple projects
  • Working with cross-functional teams to define and produce solutions that meet customer objectives
  • Planning and securing the right levels of resource
  • Identifying issues and recommending solutions to the Programme Manager
  • Driving work packages to a successful conclusion, resolving conflict where needed
  • Reporting progress and status to the project board/Programme Manager
  • Providing implementation engineering - directly or supporting third parties - including troubleshooting and documentation

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years' Technical/IT Support experience
  • 2+ years' experience in delivery or project management of small/medium work packages
  • Experience of information analysis and risk management
  • Knowledge of agile/scrum/lean startup best practice, and experience delivering value through agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with RHEL and MS Windows Server
  • Experience with the Microsoft Product Suite, including M365
  • Networking and security knowledge (DNS/TCP/IP/NFS/SAMBA/Web Protocols/SSL/TLS/Certificates)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with hardware (Servers, data centres, PCs), network (Switches, Routers, modems, VPNs, Firewalls) or software (operating systems, enterprise systems, web Servers)
  • Able to work independently, prioritising and making decisions confidently and quickly
  • Experience working collaboratively in a project team
  • Active DV clearance or DV clearable
  • Able to work 5 days a week on-site

Desirable:

  • Formal PM qualification (Prince2, APMP)
  • Ability to lead a team of engineers
  • Experience with Cloud IT infrastructure
