Position: Website Modernization Project Lead
 
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Remote with 10–12 days/month onsite)
 
Location: Jackson, MS

Role Overview

We are seeking a Website Modernization Project Lead to drive the execution of a large-scale website redesign, content strategy, and digital change management initiative. You will work closely with technology vendors, leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless rollout.
 

Key Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills:
 
  • Website Redesign & Migration: Proven experience leading end-to-end redesigns for large-scale websites (100+ pages).
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Hands-on experience collaborating with external technology vendors and cross-departmental stakeholders.
  • Web Accessibility: Solid working knowledge of ADA Title II and WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  • Governance & Process: Experience building web governance frameworks, editorial workflows, and digital change management plans.
  • Quality Assurance: Experience managing content auditing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and pre/post-launch activities.
Preferred Skills:
 
  • CMS & Tools: Experience with Drupal, Smartsheet, or enterprise content management platforms.
  • Public Sector / Healthcare: Experience supporting state government, public sector, Medicaid, or health/human services agencies.
  • Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CBAP, CPACC, or WAS certifications.
