🔹SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Staff Data Engineer to provide technical leadership in building and operationalizing enterprise data and analytics initiatives.
The resource will be responsible for designing, building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines, automating production deployments, and partnering closely with business and IT teams to solve complex business problems using data engineering and analytics.

🔹RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and develop data pipelines ingesting data from Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Aurora, file shares, and web services
• Build streaming ingestion solutions using Kinesis Streams, Kinesis Firehose, Kinesis Analytics, and Kafka/MSK
• Design and build AWS S3 Data Lakes with optimal partitioning and compression
• Work with AWS Glue, Informatica, EMR, Spark, Athena, Python, Power BI, and SageMaker
• Perform data modeling and build enterprise Data Warehouses using Snowflake
• Participate in requirements gathering, system architecture, and data architecture design
• Work across the complete software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies

🔹 QUALIFICATIONS
✅ 14+ years of overall IT/Data Engineering experience preferred
✅ 8+ years in Enterprise Information Solution Architecture, Design & Development
✅ 8+ years hands-on with AWS: S3, Kinesis, Lambda, Athena, Glue, EMR
✅ 8+ years with integration architectures such as ETL, SOA, Microservices, or similar technologies
✅ 5+ years of web development using Python and Node.js
✅ 3+ years building cloud data warehouses using Snowflake and/or Redshift
✅ 3+ years with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MarkLogic, MongoDB
✅ 3+ years with BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI
✅ 3+ years with analytics/statistical tools such as SAS, R, Python, or similar
✅ Experience with Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence
✅ Experience with DevOps and Terraform
✅ Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database architectures
✅ Experience developing enterprise-grade production software
✅ Strong understanding of database architecture and performance implications
✅ Ability to multitask and work effectively within an Agile team
✅ Knowledge of programming environments, debugging tools, and testing tools
✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✅ Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
