Job Title: Enactor POS Architect
Location: Atlanta, GA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week
Employment Type: Contract
Experience: 8+ years in Retail POS solutions

Position Overview

Acunor is seeking an experienced Enactor POS Architect to lead the design, architecture, implementation, and modernization of retail Point of Sale solutions using the Enactor POS platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on Enactor expertise, deep knowledge of retail store operations, and experience integrating POS solutions with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Enactor POS solutions across retail environments.

  • Define scalable and secure POS architecture aligned with business and technology objectives.

  • Drive POS modernization, upgrades, configuration, and performance optimization.

  • Integrate Enactor POS with payment gateways, ERP, Order Management Systems (OMS), CRM, loyalty platforms, pricing, and inventory management systems.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with retail security standards and best practices.

  • Provide technical leadership, solution governance, and production support guidance.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Retail POS solutions with strong expertise in Enactor POS.

  • Hands-on experience in POS architecture, deployment, customization, and integration.

  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, returns, promotions, loyalty, inventory, and omnichannel processes.

  • Experience integrating POS systems with enterprise applications and third-party services.

  • Knowledge of APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and modern integration frameworks.

  • Strong stakeholder management and solution design skills.

  • Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA, 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale retail transformation programs.

  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

  • Retail domain expertise across store systems and omnichannel commerce.
