Field Service Engineer (electrical) - Bangor HQ - Up To £20 p/h (DoE) Your New Company Our client is a fast-paced and innovative organisation with 40+ years of expertise within their market sector. Your New Role Our client is seeking to recruit an Electrician, ideally from a Water/Wastewater or Field Service background to join their busy Service division. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Electrical Engineer to join a fast-paced and innovative company. You will primarily be responsible for leading the Electrical activities across the Service & Repair division. Duties will cover electrical installation & service on municipal, industrial and wastewater treatment plants, various pump and control related tasks across several clients in Northern Ireland. Whilst working your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Reporting to the Service Manager and providing daily updates on progress * Work with a large range of mechanical/electrical equipment and materials including, but not limited to, pumps and specialist equipment in water and wastewater * Engage with management and service coordinators to ensure smooth preparation and delivery on-site * Completing all job-related paperwork and documentation as required * Support trainee programme and develop future electrical engineers to a high standard * Conduct on site activities to a high standard and in line with client expectations * Engage with customers and supply chain in a professional manner * Site visits as needed to establish customer needs and develop plan for delivery. Maintaining a high standard of service and communication with customers * Ensure service jobs are conducted in compliance with our HSQE policies and procedures and where required, work to site-specific method statements and risk assessments * To perform the job in accordance with the company's policies and procedure * To perform any other duties as may be reasonably be required from time-to-time. What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications: Previous experience working in Water/Wastewater or Field Service applications, although not essential, is highly desirable * Qualified Electrician * ICA experience is highly desirable * Willingness to train junior employees/apprentices * Excellent fault-finding/diagnostic skills * Strong organisation and communication skills * Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision * A clean full UK driving licence. What You'll Get In Return This role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £20 (DoE) for working a 39.5 hour week on days, supplemented with a call-out rota. Enhanced OT rates are also available and you will use a company van, fuel card, laptop and mobile phone.
