IT Quality Assur Anlyt Sr. (Duck Creek)

Join Precision as a Senior IT Quality Assurance Analyst supporting a Fortune 100 client on a 12-month contract. This remote role offers the opportunity to test complex application changes through functional, automated, and risk-based testing within an Agile/Scrum environment. You will analyze requirements, create test cases, validate APIs and databases, log defects, and support quality improvements across application layers. The ideal candidate brings Duck Creek experience, insurance industry knowledge, test automation expertise, REST API testing, SQL, and Azure DevOps experience. Candidates must work Eastern Time hours and remain available for video meetings.

Essential Skills

• Develop and execute automated tests for complex business applications.
• Demonstrate Duck Creek experience and insurance industry knowledge.
• Perform functional and risk-based testing from requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Test REST APIs using REST Assured, Swagger/OpenAPI, or Postman/Newman.
• Use SQL for database queries and backend validation.
• Apply Lean/Agile practices within Scrum project teams.
• Use Azure DevOps for requirements, test cases, defects, or project tracking.

Plusses

• Commercial Auto insurance experience.
• Experience testing client, API, and database application layers.
• Experience maintaining regression suites, risk catalogs, or test automation assets.
• Experience with white-box, black-box, integration, and acceptance testing.
