This employer is seeking an immediate hire for a full-time Intermodal Equipment Operator to join their global supply chain operations. The Role

• Operate heavy machinery such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring accurate and safe handling.
• Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard using specialized equipment.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Coordinate container moves and daily tasks with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Uphold safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory for consideration.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Open availability, including willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
