Program Manager
Location Remote (Preferred locations based on business needs) 

About This Opportunity:
World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex infrastructure transformation initiatives. This role will oversee multi-disciplinary workstreams spanning data center infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, identity and access management, cybersecurity, automation, AI infrastructure, and operational readiness.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise infrastructure programs, stakeholder management, governance, risk management, and large-scale technology deployments. 

Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Governance:

  • Establish and manage integrated program plans, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and delivery schedules.
  • Lead program mobilization, kickoff activities, governance forums, stakeholder communications, and escalation management.
  • Facilitate architecture reviews, executive briefings, readiness reviews, and program status meetings.
  • Govern scope, change management, and delivery execution across all workstreams. 

Infrastructure & Data Center Delivery:
Coordinate delivery for new site environments, including:

  • Site readiness
  • Rack and stack activities
  • Compute and storage deployment
  • Networking implementation
  • Security integration
  • Identity services
  • Automation and testing
  • Operational readiness
  • Manage data center readiness, site coordination, hardware installation, and operational acceptance activities. 

Cross-Functional Program Coordination:
Coordinate delivery across the following technology domains:

  • Enterprise compute and storage platforms
  • Juniper routing, switching, leaf-spine fabric, and firewall services
  • Aruba networking and access-layer connectivity
  • NVIDIA/Mellanox switching and high-bandwidth network fabrics
  • Identity and access management platforms
  • Microsoft 365 infrastructure services
  • Cybersecurity and compliance initiatives
  • Cloud management and automation platforms
  • Infrastructure management and operational tooling
  • Manage integration dependencies across networking, compute, security, cloud, and operations teams. 

Risk, Dependency & Resource Management:

  • Maintain clear ownership of deliverables, actions, decisions, assumptions, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Establish and maintain RAID logs, dependency maps, decision registers, and executive reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate schedule, technical, staffing, procurement, capacity, security, and operational risks.
  • Manage resource planning, onboarding, staffing forecasts, utilization, and coverage strategies. 

Testing & Operational Readiness:

  • Coordinate Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD, deployment validation, testing, security validation, resiliency testing, and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Ensure operational teams receive required documentation, training, support processes, and transition materials.
  • Drive production readiness reviews and operational handoffs. 

Modernization & Transformation Initiatives:

  • Coordinate application assessments, dependency mapping, migration planning, proof-of-concept activities, modernization efforts, and legacy platform retirement.
  • Support platform engineering, automation, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and XaaS transformation initiatives.
  • Promote transparent, measurable, and collaborative program execution practices.

The Program Manager will oversee initiatives involving:

  • Enterprise compute and storage infrastructure
  • Juniper routing, switching, leaf-spine networking, and firewall services
  • Aruba networking and access-network integration
  • NVIDIA/Mellanox switching and high-bandwidth network fabrics

Identity and access management across:

  • Okta
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft 365
  • Cybersecurity, segmentation, secure access, monitoring, and compliance
  • Morpheus cloud operating models, orchestration, self-service provisioning, and automation
  • Infrastructure management and operational platform integrations
  • Infrastructure-as-Code, configuration management, CI/CD, testing, and deployment validation
  • Data center readiness and operational acceptance
  • VMware modernization and migration initiatives
  • Application replatforming and infrastructure modernization efforts
  • AI, accelerated compute, GPU infrastructure, and platform engineering programs 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex infrastructure, cloud, data center, platform engineering, or technology transformation programs.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with distributed teams, external partners, and matrixed organizations.

  • Operational readiness reviews 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent program management certifications.
  • Experience managing multi-site data center buildouts or expansion initiatives.
  • Experience with Morpheus, VM Essentials, VMware migration, or cloud operating model transformations.
  • Experience coordinating NSX-V modernization, application dependency mapping, migration waves, and legacy platform retirement efforts.
  • Experience supporting high-performance computing, AI infrastructure, GPU platforms, or high-bandwidth networking initiatives.
  • Experience leading platform engineering, IaaS, XaaS, and self-service platform programs.
  • Experience managing programs with aggressive timelines, capacity constraints, staffing challenges, or procurement dependencies.
  • Experience transitioning newly implemented infrastructure into steady-state operations with defined support models and service-level expectations.
