D&L LLC is an industrial HVAC, mechanical, and sheet metal contractor serving manufacturing, commercial, and mission-critical facilities across the Southeast. Our work spans maintenance, service, construction, shutdown support, and engineered solutions, helping customers keep essential systems operating safely and efficiently.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play an important role in supporting customers' day-to-day operations by keeping commercial and industrial HVAC equipment running reliably. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, takes pride in quality workmanship, and brings a responsive, service-oriented approach to field work.
This role could also serve as a Floater Tech role with travel to other sites at times in Jackson MS and Decatur AL!
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial & industrial HVAC systems
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and system inspections
- Service equipment such as RTUs, split systems, and large-scale mechanical systems
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members on findings and solutions
- Accurately document service work, parts used, and recommendations
- Follow all safety standards and company procedures
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems in HVAC equipment.
- Hands-on experience servicing RTUs, mini splits, and package units.
- Experience following HVAC service safety standards.
- Ability to work responsively with plant maintenance teams on service calls.
