Rust Engineer / EST

Their platform processes massive volumes of real-time options and equities data and is trusted by firms that rely on speed, reliability, and accuracy.
This team is focused on solving hard engineering problems at scale. They're looking for someone who enjoys digging into performance bottlenecks, optimizing systems, and building infrastructure that handles huge amounts of real-time data with minimal latency. What You'll Be Doing

• Design and build high-throughput, low-latency backend services in Rust
• Develop systems responsible for ingesting, processing, and distributing massive volumes of real-time market data
• Optimize performance across memory allocation, concurrency, threading, and network I/O
• Build and enhance distributed systems focused on reliability, scalability, and speed
• Work closely with a small team of engineers on architecture and technical design decisions
• Profile, benchmark, and tune systems to improve throughput and reduce latency
• Contribute to the evolution of core infrastructure supporting mission-critical data platforms

What We're Looking For

• Strong professional experience with Rust in production environments
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems
• Deep understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming
• Strong systems programming background with experience optimizing performance-critical applications
• Experience working with Linux-based systems
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and socket programming
• Ability to analyze and improve system performance through profiling and benchmarking
