We're hiring for a globally recognised technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology, and mission services to government, defense, and intelligence communities. This organization is known for harnessing the power of technology and deep expertise to create immediate value and deliver solutions at the edge of innovation. They are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join their impactful team and support critical missions.
The Role
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for project management and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, project managers, SMEs) to gather technical information.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems.
• Maintain records of revisions, version control, and documentation repositories for accessibility and traceability.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field (experience may substitute for education).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand and translate complex technical information into clear documentation.
• Top Secret clearance currently possessed and SCI eligible.
