23650 Senior Real Estate Representative

Terms of Employment:

This is a hybrid schedule with Tues, Wed and Thurs onsite at Oakbrook Terrace, IL

Overview:

Our client is seeking a Senior Real Estate Representative to support their MACRO Team by facilitating, reviewing, and processing wireless telecom collocation requests from outside carriers looking to attach equipment onto transmission assets. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between wireless carriers, internal departments, and the transmission engineering team to ensure application completeness, coordinate technical evaluations, manage multiple project trackers, and drive approvals forward effectively.

The contractor will be responsible for reviewing collocation requests, ensuring completeness, coordinating with ComEd transmission engineering team, and helping to facilitate approvals for wireless carriers to attach telecommunication equipment on ComEd transmission structures. Knowledge of requirements of wireless telecom collocation processes, utility operations, engineering projects, or telecom real estate rights is highly valuable and will reduce the learning curve. The contractor will serve at the primary liaison between carriers and various internal departments and stakeholders. Contractor will manage multiple requests simultaneously, follow-up consistently, and maintain strong working relationships.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between external wireless carriers and internal stakeholders/departments to guide collocation requests through completion.
Review and process incoming wireless telecom collocation requests to ensure completeness and identify missing requirements or documentation.
Coordinate with transmission engineering and utility operations teams to facilitate technical reviews and approvals for equipment attachments.
Manage multiple collocation projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong, proactive follow-up habits.
Build, update, and maintain detailed project trackers, status reports, and databases to ensure document accuracy and transparency across departments.
Maintain positive, collaborative business relationships with carriers, project teams, and regulatory contacts

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or significant related professional work experience.
1 to 5 years of professional experience in wireless telecom real estate, real estate right-of-way, permitting, or utility industry operations.
In-depth knowledge of wireless telecom site collocation processes, telecom real estate rights, or utility transmission structures.
Strong project coordination, data management, and database tracking abilities.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Hands-on experience maintaining project trackers, status reports, and documentation records.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and ensure reliable follow-through
Prior experience utilizing workflow systems such as Alden One or similar enterprise database management tools.
Familiarity with SharePoint for document repository and team collaboration purposes
