A health services organization is seeking a Senior Python GenAI Engineer (FastAPI / MCP / Azure) for a remote role, focused on building scalable, production-grade GenAI applications and APIs with a strong emphasis on Python, FastAPI, FastMCP, and Azure.


About the Opportunity:




  • Shift: Day shift




  • Schedule: Monday to Friday




  • Hours: Standard business




  • Setting: Remote




Responsibilities:




  • Design, develop, and implement applications using Python, FastAPI, and FastMCP




  • Build scalable, production-grade APIs and end-to-end solutions




  • Support the full application lifecycle, including implementation, deployment, monitoring, and observability




  • Develop and integrate GenAI and LLM-based solutions using modern AI tools and frameworks




  • Collaborate on cloud-native and DevOps-enabled delivery practices for reliable application performance




Qualifications:




  • Strong proficiency in Python




  • Proven experience designing and developing applications with FastAPI and FastMCP




  • Hands-on experience building scalable, production-grade APIs




  • Experience with Microsoft Azure




  • Experience with Generative AI and LLM integrations




  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes or AKS




Desired Skills:




  • Experience with Azure services such as AKS, Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis




  • Exposure to OpenAI GPT and Anthropic Claude




  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, and VS Code
