Job Description

Network Engineer

Location: Newark, NJ – Hybrid
Interview: Phone + In Person
Locals Only
Duration: 08/03/2026 – 01/08/2027

Key Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of advanced Network Operations & Support experience.
  • Strong experience with SolarWinds or similar NMS tools – Power User level required.
  • Troubleshooting routers, switches, TCP/IP, SSH, Telnet, Traceroute, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing & switching.
  • Monitor network infrastructure, respond to alerts/incidents, troubleshoot outages, and minimize MTTR.
  • Level 3 escalation support and ability to mentor Level 1/2 NOC analysts.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, SOPs, and NOC runbooks.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts when required.
  • CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification is a plus.
