Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Ergolding bei Landshut, Germany | Hybrid

This employer is playing a crucial role in advancing the energy transition by modernizing and expanding medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations. They are seeking a dedicated technician to join their team, contributing to the development of a greener energy future across southeastern Germany.

The Role

  • Execute commissioning tests for electrical installations in substations and specialized feed-in systems for renewable energy.
  • Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control technology systems, collaborating with internal expert teams.
  • Program and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices for high and medium voltage systems from leading manufacturers.
  • Operate digital protection and control technology with state-of-the-art testing equipment.
  • Contribute to important energy infrastructure projects, including industrial connections and renewable energy parks.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment with project leadership, planning, and assembly teams.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience with protection/control technology, ideally in the commissioning of switchgear.
  • Familiarity with common communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104).
  • Experience with Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1 parameterization software, and OMICROM TestUniverse is advantageous.
  • Strong teamwork, responsibility, decision-making, and communication skills, with excellent German proficiency.
  • A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel (typically Monday-Thursday).
