Sales Trainer

Outset Medical seeks a Sales Training Manager to build and scale commercial team capabilities during significant growth. This role combines training delivery, field performance assessment, and instructional design to translate real-world sales dynamics into effective learning experiences that improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities
Facilitate onboarding and sales training programs at national, regional, and field-based sessions
Spend approximately 50% of time in the field observing sales teams and customers to identify performance gaps
Design and deliver learning interventions based on field observations and business priorities
Coach sales representatives in applying skills to real-world selling and customer environments
Create training materials, job aids, and e-learning modules to support commercial team development
Requirements
Expertise in adult learning principles and training delivery methods
Experience designing and developing training content and materials
Strong ability to assess performance gaps and identify development needs
Comfort facilitating training across multiple formats and settings
Demonstrated success coaching or mentoring sales professionals
Experience partnering with field teams and collecting customer feedback
