Senior Systems and Network Engineer with Security Clearance

Senior Systems and Network Engineer Location: Camp Lejeune, NC Description: On-site in Camp Lejeune, NC Our client seeks a senior systems and network engineer to perform advanced installation, operations, integration, and maintenance of complex IT systems and networks. This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure, ensuring system availability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex network architectures and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues
• Ensure network security and compliance with standards
• Manage network performance and capacity planning
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support business needs
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in systems and network engineering
• Experience with network protocols, topologies, and hardware
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
