Substance Abuse Technician

• Location: Westchester, IL

• Facility: Ascension Addiction Services

• Department: Addiction Behavioral Health Services

• Schedule: Evening shift | Part-time

• Schedule: Monday and Thursday 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm; Tuesday 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
• Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions on the male unit
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities
• Primary duties are to provide drug testing services under our USPO contract

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Counselor preferred.
• Counselor specializing in Chemical Dependency preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences:

• Working with male clients in an outpatient treatment facility for substance use disorders

• CADC highly preferred
