  • Develop and maintain hypervisor-based environments supporting multiple operating systems or isolated software domains.

  • Work with embedded operating systems, including Linux, QNX, Android Automotive OS, or other relevant automotive platforms.

  • Drive hardware and software integration, platform bring-up, system configuration, and performance optimization.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving boot sequences, memory management, hardware interfaces, and system stability.

  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, systems engineering, connectivity, and validation teams.

  • Lead technical reviews, design discussions, root-cause analysis, and defect resolution.

  • Establish platform software standards, coding guidelines, integration procedures, and regression strategies.

  • Mentor engineers and coordinate technical deliverables across cross-functional teams.

  • Support software releases, integration milestones, and production readiness activities.

Required Technical Skills

  • 8+ years of embedded software development experience.

  • Strong experience with automotive infotainment or connectivity platforms.

  • Proven experience in BSP development, customization, integration, or maintenance.

  • Strong understanding of embedded platform architecture and hardware-software interfaces.

  • Hands-on experience with hypervisors, virtualization, or multi-OS embedded systems.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded software development.

  • Experience with embedded Linux, QNX, Android Automotive OS, or comparable operating systems.

  • Knowledge of bootloaders, device drivers, kernel-level components, and hardware initialization.

  • Experience with SoC bring-up, debugging, integration, and performance tuning.

  • Familiarity with Git, code reviews, build systems, debugging tools, and software integration workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive OEM or Tier-1 automotive supplier experience.

  • Experience with automotive connectivity technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, Ethernet, or cellular connectivity.

  • Knowledge of automotive middleware, diagnostics, and communication frameworks.

  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Xen, QNX Hypervisor, or other embedded hypervisors.

  • Familiarity with automotive development standards and functional safety concepts.

  • Experience leading an embedded engineering team or owning a major platform component.
