The ideal candidate will be a strong operational leader capable of managing teams, coordinating multiple departments, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring production and customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to maintain operational control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and coordinate operations and production teams.
  • Allocate responsibilities, monitor team performance, and maintain operational accountability.
  • Coordinate between production, warehouse, inventory, logistics, and other departments.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and drive timely resolution.
  • Ensure production workflows remain aligned with planned schedules and customer commitments.
  • Prepare and monitor order sheets, production plans, and pre-production documentation for B2B and B2C orders.
  • Track order progress, follow up on pending activities, and ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately from production through dispatch.
  • Prepare invoices and supporting documentation for domestic and export shipments.
  • Coordinate export documentation and ensure timely and accurate shipping bill submissions where applicable.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners and courier agencies for pickups, dispatches, and deliveries.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, production, inventory, shipments, and operational activities.
  • Prepare and review MIS reports covering production, orders, inventory, logistics, and fulfilment.
  • Monitor operational performance using MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with production and procurement teams.
  • Ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, buttons, zippers, packaging materials, and other production inputs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to prevent material shortages or production delays.
  • Establish effective processes to improve operational efficiency, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  • Provide regular operational updates and performance reports to management.
  • Take ownership of critical operational issues and drive corrective actions.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, production, logistics, apparel manufacturing, garment manufacturing, or a closely related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing factory operations and production teams.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple departments and operational activities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of apparel/garment production processes, order execution, and fulfilment.
  • Experience managing B2B and B2C order processing and shipment coordination.
  • Good understanding of logistics, dispatch, courier management, and delivery operations.
  • Experience with export documentation and shipping processes is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MIS reporting.
  • Experience monitoring production schedules, inventory, material availability, and operational KPIs.
  • Strong vendor, logistics partner, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent leadership, team-management, communication, and delegation abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Ability to identify operational risks and resolve issues before they affect production or customer commitments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • High level of ownership and accountability for factory performance, production execution, order fulfilment, logistics, and on-time delivery.
