Sales Force Engineer

In-Place Machining Company (IPM) is looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Sales Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering and business. Partner with customers to understand challenges and deliver tailored engineering solutions
Showcase IPM’s capabilities and value through presentations and on-site visits
Review drawings, assess job sites, and identify new opportunities for growth
Build long-term relationships with customers across diverse industries
Collaborate with engineering, field operations, and marketing to expand market reach
5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, field service, machining, industrial maintenance, or technical sales
~ Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for problem-solving
~ Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
~ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T preferred)
~ Experience with SolidWorks and CAM software
~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Equivalent hands-on experience, technical training, or certifications will be considered
