The Role

• Installing a variety of electrical systems, including cables, junction boxes, fuse panels, and transformers.
• Performing cable termination and the installation of all electrical equipment according to specifications.
• Interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Collaborating with shipbuilding teams to ensure efficient and timely project completion.
• Adhering to strict safety and quality standards in all undertaken work.

What You'll Need

• Completion of a Modern Apprenticeship (SVQ Level 3) or equivalent trade qualification.
• A valid SJIB card.
• Experience in marine installations or major industrial environments.
• Familiarity with risk assessments, PUWER, COSHH, and safe working practices.
• Ability to read and follow trade drawings and technical instructions.
• Proficiency in mounting electrical equipment, earthing components, and completing cable terminations to trade standards.
