The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks within the intermodal yard.
• Safely stack, move, and organize containers according to operational needs.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing ladders.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays (open availability required).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
