Power Plant Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Power Plant Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and performance of power plants. The candidate should have knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment, troubleshooting, plant operations, and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain power plant equipment and systems.

• Monitor plant performance and improve efficiency.

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation issues.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.

• Support equipment inspections, testing, and commissioning.

• Work with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to solve problems.

• Follow safety rules and environmental regulations.

• Prepare maintenance reports and technical documents.

• Support equipment upgrades and plant improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in power plants, power generation, or industrial utilities.

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and plant operations.

• Experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

• Understanding of industrial safety rules and operating procedures.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, or boilers.

• Knowledge of plant control systems, instrumentation, and SCADA.

• Experience in equipment reliability, root cause analysis, and maintenance planning.
