What is a Nursing Assistant in Training?

A Nursing Assistant in Training is someone who is interested in getting their CNA and wants to get hands-on experience while they take the class and prepare for their exams. At Cura of Melrose, we offer CNA classes all year with flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend classes. Why get your CNA at Cura? Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and health status accurately.
  • Provide compassionate support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas following established protocols.
  • Report any changes in patients’ conditions promptly to the nursing team.
  • Adhere to all healthcare and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Part-Time and Full-Time Opportunities

Morning and Evening Shift Opportunities

  • Availability to take the CNA course is required.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding CNA tasks, including lifting or repositioning patients, extended standing and walking, and assisting with transfers
  • Compensation: 40,000-60,000 USD/year
