Quality Manager – Short JD

Company: Industrial Bolting Systems
Location: South Hackensack/Mahwah, NJ

Seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead quality operations and maintain/improve the QMS across manufacturing, machining, assembly, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QMS, ISO 9001:2015, CAPA, audits, calibration, document control, and compliance.
• Manage incoming, in-process, dimensional, and final product inspections.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier quality, audits, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
• Lead and develop QC/QA/Quality teams.
• Track quality KPIs and support customer, supplier, and third-party audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years of quality experience in manufacturing/machining/industrial environments.
• 3+ years of leadership/management experience.
• Strong ISO 9001:2015 experience; ISO 17025 preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CAPA, audits, inspection, calibration, NCM, and QMS.
• CNC machining, precision assembly, and dimensional inspection experience preferred.
• CQE/CQA/CMQ or ISO Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Minitab and ERP/QMS systems experience preferred.
