Location: Washington, DC / Rockville, MD / McLean, VA (Hybrid 3 days onsite with 2 days remote)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and build scalable enterprise applications in a modern Agile and CI/CD environment. This role will focus on Node.js and Angular development while leveraging AWS cloud and serverless technologies. Candidates with a strong Java foundation who have expanded into Node.js or Python are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Node.js, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Build scalable REST APIs and backend services using Node.js, NestJS, or Express.js.
• Develop modern Angular applications using Angular 12+, RxJS, and TypeScript.
• Build and integrate AWS cloud solutions using Lambda, EC2, S3, Fargate, API Gateway, SQS, and other services.
• Develop event-driven and serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical design discussions, code reviews, and sprint delivery.
• Develop automated tests using Jest, Mocha, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and promote software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of production-level Node.js development experience.
• 3+ years of Angular experience, preferably Angular 12+.
• Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, object-oriented programming, and REST API development skills.
• Hands-on AWS experience, particularly with Lambda and serverless architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Previous Java/JVM development experience is a plus.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar platforms is a plus.
