Job Description (JD) – Java Cloud Lead Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Java Cloud Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications using Java technologies. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions on cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based cloud applications.
• Design and develop microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to define technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and conduct design reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and design specifications.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java (Java 11/17 or later), Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle, and software development best practices.
• Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, and system design.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
