Job Description

Position :  Senior PHP developer 
Location : Amherst, NY (5 days onsite)
Duration : 12 Months 
 
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in PHP, Laravel/CodeIgniter frameworks, MySQL, REST APIs, and modern web development practices. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Required Technical Skills
Backend Development
Strong proficiency in PHP
Hands-on experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Experience with MVC architecture
Database Technologies
Strong experience with MySQL/MariaDB
Knowledge of database design, optimization, and performance tuning
Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
API & Integration
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
Experience integrating third-party APIs and payment gateways
Understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SSO)
Frontend Knowledge
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus
